My Work
The work I have submitted is a collection of, what I feel to be, some of my best work to date. It contains various forms of art and different materials that I have experimented with, over the last three years, and continue to experiment with now. I feel that it is a collection of my favourite ways to work and materials to work with. Most contain some form of mixed media. Whether in the form of overlapping materials or just overlapping symbols or ideas. This is because I feel I work best when several idea’s clash through my work, and I feel this allows me to get the most expressed through my art.
I have always been very interested in art and the thoughts put across through it. I think that art very strongly links with Literature, of which I am also very keen on. This is because both are artistic forms of getting a person’s view point across. However I think that sometimes expressing a view through a visual form can be more dramatic, which is what has always interested me in art.

All photomanipulations can be found here http://eigthdegreebites.deviantart.com/ with clear links to the reference images used that are not my own. I do not take ownership of these reference images but have been given permission to use them by the artists.
I have chosen the Fine Art course because I feel my strongest skill is in the form of painting and mixed media, and although I like to use a wide range of art forms I have a deep interest in studying, in more depth, detail painting and its history, along with improving my own skills within the area.
